Traffic Ambala Police, has a Traffic Police Station and its office are situated at Mohra on National Highway 44. This Traffic Police Station is working under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police ,Ambala
(Traffic). The incharge of Police Station Traffic Mohra is an rank of Sub-Inspector
Traffic Enforcement:- Sufficient number of Police Officials have been posted as per BPRD norms in traffic staff.
Awareness programme are being organized for general public, students and road users about traffic rules on continuously basis. Traffic Challan are being made against the violators rules specially traffic laws violations by two wheelers, cars & taxies, trucks, over speeding vehicles, without helmets and non-wearing of seat belt.
Main Highways/State Highways:- There is six National Highways named NH-44, NH-152, NH-344, NH-444A, NH-65 & NH-7 are falling in District Ambala apart from this two State Highways named SH-4 & SH-1 also falling in District Ambala. Sincere and arduous efforts are being made by the district police administration to reduce road accident and to save precious lives of the peoples. In case of road accidents to provide all possible assistance is being given to the accident victims as soon as possible. Three Police Assistance Booths have been already established at a reasonable distance on National Highways No. 44. Total 03 Bolero, 01-Crane & 03 Motor cycle rider,03 ERV-112 police vehicles are patrolling on National Highways round the 24 hours on various areas for smooth traffic and reduction of road accident in District Ambala.
